Symbol of Blessing

I used Symbol of Blessing earlier today. According to the formula on Krakiipedia (http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/Symbol_of_blessing) (Swings = Blesser's Level + (2 × Blesser's Voln rank), I should have gotten 19 swings (level 9 + (2 * level 5 Voln rank).

However, I had A LOT more than 19 swings. I counted swings into the 20's until I decided to stop, since the formula seemed to be off. Anyone know the correct one? Next time, I'll just count them all... :/

Bless a fresh weapon and count how many swings you get.

I don't think so. If I had, it would have doubled my swings, correct? I feel like I swung over even that limit. I'll just log the next hunt and post it here.

I imagine they may have simply added a minimum for how many blesses you give to make things easier for lower level characters, and have the signs be useful.

The formula is correct. I just reconfirmed it to eliminate any possibility that a bug may have crept in. Level 5 monk w/ 4 voln ranks had 13 attacks before the bless wore off.

5 + (4*2) = 13

Are you sure that your blessing took? Maybe it was already blessed with more than 19 blesses. Can't say for sure.

Yeah, so...mystery solved. I'm a fucking retard. Evidently, someone must have sneaked a bless on my lance. When I didn't notice and blessed it myself, I just assumed it was 'my' bless on the weapon. :noob:
