View Full Version : wrist worn MR +5 pickpocketing bonus persists to both
mb 35k
As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the pink tourmaline bracer in your hand...
The magical strength of this item is strong. It could probably handle the imbedding of an entirely new spell, if handled with care.
The bracer resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus of 5 to Pickpocketing Bonus.
This enhancement may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 10 times.
The bracer looks to have more than your average giantman could count charges remaining.
You sense that the pink tourmaline bracer will persist after its last enhancive charge has been expended.

I thought the Mage Rechargeable message mentioned that it could be refilled after being depleted. I thought the message in your bard song just indicates that this item is imbedable.
If what you have above does in fact mean it's Mage Rechargeable then I've sold a buncha Mage Rechargeables in error over the past few months.

that's not mage rechargeable, it's reimbeddable.
Blank rechargable (second verse):
You sense a faint aura of magic around the pink dreamstone brooch. You also feel a faint drawing sensation from it, as though it may be able to hold more power. From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the brooch is to cast a spell or perform some magical purpose.

It is mage rechargable, the recharge message occurs on the first loresong, I included only the third loresong, with the enhancive details, figuring people would take my word.

That line doesn't say anything about refillable. So either it's not MR or there are multiple MR messages and I've only been looking for the refillable message.
That is the message for a blank MR. An imbedded MR has the "as though it can be refilled" message, but not a blank one, semantically perhaps because saying "when it is depleted it can be refilled" when it is already depleted doesn't make sense.

Hmm... Then I've been selling MR for chump change at the gemshop. I guess I'll have to start looking for that message too. Sorry to hijack your thread.

If you're going to include any loresong, include all the important details.

I did, I identified it as MR. I would think that my status as notanoob who knows something much about GS magical systems would be fine.
