A petition for the founding of an Orphan's Home in Wehnimer's Landing has been posted outside Moot Hall, and is awaiting your support!

Please sign this petition to voice your strong support for a home for all those children affected by the tragedies of recent and future years. The children's home will provide for all the needs of the town's orphaned children, including a proper education, and will be funded through the graciousness of any one or group willing. By signing, you will help demonstrate the desire and need for such a place for our deprived youths.

With the hundreds (thousands?) of children who get lost each week, it would be good if they can have a place to stay after rescue.

What if all the lost children that you rescue left the cities in the first place to look for their parents that you lost while attempting an escort quest?

The entire time, they're just looking for their mommies and daddies, not knowing that bandits slaughtered then relentlessly on the path.

The other lost children are the children of their bandits. Their bandit parents were stuck with hard times due to slower sales at the local shops when merchants like the RtCF come around, and nobody is willing to buy from their parents. So they're forced to a life of crime off of the main roads. Of course, their brutally slaughtered by your hands, and their parents continue to look for them til this very day... ... ... in the middle of Darkstone.

Until you go and rescue them, and force them into the child slaving hands of the adventurer's guild.

I'm sure a number of them are depraved as well as deprived, given that their parents WERE brutally murdered by bandits, trolls, griffons, more trolls, a few more bandits, vathors, etc...

That would be great if we could get child bandits. "An emaciated child half-elf rogue" groin kicks you and you get to remove it's head.

Whirlin makes a good point, what where these cutthroats doing before they turned to crime in the lands? Were they the children lost in Nelemar among the sentries? Can we get child bandit culling tasks from the orphanage now? You have been tasked with supressing the child bandit problem in Wentoph. You need to kill 45 of them to complete you task. Have them swarm and ask you for candy then hamstring you.
