It worked. 5 out of 6 picked SF before last night's game. 4 out of 4 picked New England after the game, and one of the 5 SF picks changed to NE. Brady for MVP!
Consider this.
Scenario A: NE wins the Super Bowl (currently favored by Vegas), Brady has four rings (most ever), three Super Bowl MVPs (most ever), six Super Bowl appearances (most ever), three regular season MVPs (2nd most ever), 10+ division titles (most ever), the highest career passer rating ever (pending Aaron Rodgers), record for most TDs in a season, finishes no worse than top 5 in every statistical category, and has a 2.8:1 career TD to INT ratio. And he owns his primary competitor for best ever in head to head matchups, assuming they go through Denver.
Pretty plausible right? As is Scenario B.
Scenario B: Denver wins the Super Bowl, Manning has two rings, two Super Bowl MVPs, three Super Bowl appearances, five regular season MVPs (most ever), 9+ division titles (2nd most ever), third highest passer rating ever (pending Aaron Rodgers), 2nd most TDs in a season, finishes #1 or 2 in every statistical category, and has a 2.1:1 career TD to INT ratio. Brady vs. Manning head to head is a wash, with Brady having the upper hand early in the career and Manning later in the career.
I think either scenario makes a clear case for that candidate as the best ever. And if you think under scenario A that Brady still doesn't have a strong claim to it well then you're just a hater.

In scenario A you left off 2008 Academy Award for Best Cinematography, otherwise A+++ post would hate again.

I PMed everyone so hopefully they will fix it. Also, your pick in this game only counts if you lose. Reason: for being a pompous ass. It's rule 31.1 sub paragraph 3. Check it.

Since the Thursday game hasn't started yet, it'd be cool if you could go back and edit your original posts with your Detroit v Arizona pick. It'll make mistakes less likely.

I really don't care, I just think it's funny how easy it is to get your panties in a bunch. I mean, 31.1 paragraph 3 is clearly real and not sarcasm. You know, you could be sarcastic back, but only if YOU believe it is sarcasm.
Edited original picks to add Det-Ari.

To be honest, I thought the omission was intentional because no one in their right mind would pick Arizona.

I'd expect nothing less from a Steelers fan. After all, the only reason they have three Super Bowl appearances is they didn't have to go through Brady. They were so afraid of him last year they decided they'd rather lose to Tebow instead. Enjoy another year of missing the playoffs.

I accepted "missing the playoffs" before the season started. It's an every 3 year thing for the Steelers, and I'm all about tradition. At least they play in a division with respectable competition year to year.
