promblems wiith install

i have a major problem. been trying to update my ruby. been away from the game for about a year. well any way i removed all the files and tried to install the new one.

it's telling my that "an error occurred while trying to replace the existing file: deletefailed code5....access denied ok how do i fix this so i can install it?

i checked in my cpu files and their is still a ruby file their. tryed to uninstall it and it then tells me C:\programfiles (x86)\ruby1.8.7-p.352.unins000.dat is corrupted can not uninstall!

so hope someone smarter then me can help. lol

I'd just try restarting your computer, then maybe the file won't be in use anymore and you can delete it.

Also, upgrading Ruby is not a good idea.
