I thought it was unfair to have just a complaints thread when I know so many people had a great time, including myself! So here's a thread to thank particular merchants, rave about the new items you love, or share the best experiences you had at the festival!

 Thank You

Merchants:

Sophella - Holy crap I can't believe how patient you were with me when I stumbled across your thread and had no clue what was going on. Not only did this merchants shop have items for sale that are a combination of my two favorite things (fashionable and functional) but she didn't get frustrated by me for not knowing all the details of her items. I spent the first week playing games only so I'm sure everyone and their mother knew about what these items did but I merely heard about them in passing. Thank you for your patience, creating awesome items and your work this festival.

Bazzelwyn - If there was one merchant I saw offering services of some kind non-stop, this is what I noticed the most. It seemed like every hour he was offering a different type of service and making sure a lot of folks got work done.

Alianatta - Holy cow. Your dedication to making sure everyone had work at this festival was fantastic. I loved that you offered services to folks near the end that had 5 services total or less. You also created fun ways to reward alterations (like the first to give me this game prize, wins) and you always made sure to have fun. Your positive spirit is infectious (in a good way).

I honestly didn't spend a lot of time at merchants so I just picked out a few merchants that really stuck out to me during the festival.

Shops/Items:

The nail polish - So great! Every girl I know was gushing about how fabulous these were, fantastic.

The belts (tier 2/3 prizes) - The poke/pull scripts made me laugh, I love them. (You hook your fingers underneath your leather tool belt and smirk. You look as if you just fell off the turnip wagon! You tug on your leather tool belt, pulling it one notch tighter. That diet must be paying off!)

Talisman Tent - Every year, I stock up on the enhancives from this shop. Keep it coming back!

Vathwyn Manor - As I said earlier, the clothing from this shop was amazing. Thank you for the reversible spell clothes, they're great.

Games:

The midway was a great addition and it was great to see new stuff in the hopper this year. The finger puppets were adorable and I love the crystal comb you can pretend to play. The carousel was great as well, Inurtia spent an unhealthy amount of time there. I met a ton of new players through the games and Inurtia made some new friends.

The contests were great this year as well. I always love seeing the creativity players have through the display of costumes, telling of stories and sharing of songs/poems.

Thank you everyone, players and staff alike, for allowing me to have a great time at the festival! I'm sure I'll add more/edit this list as I remember things.

Compliments threads belong on the officials because that's the only kind of criticism permitted by Simu. Complaint threads go here because they are automatically squelched by TPTB otherwise.

This. Alianatta went above and beyond. She worked fast but she didn't rush and was always happy to suggest changes and help out.

This. Alianatta went above and beyond. She worked fast but she didn't rush and was always happy to suggest changes and help out.

Her speed (and the player preparation) allowed 60+ room order to go out a few times. She literally stayed until the bitter end working and I was afk and late to arrive and 40 something behind, she not only got to me, I left for a raffle, came back, and got back into the line at 20 something deep and she nearly got to me again! Locked rooms for multiple services was also great.

Bazzelwyn for being omipresent, Eosten for frequent work, Gizimit for awesome fun, Buzzly for spinning over 20+ at a time, 60 or more total multiple nights (yea my poor luck that night finally yielded to his onslaught of spin at #52), Zegg for a couple late late nights, Kyrinthe for hilarious snobby attitude coupled with high production, Gioh for frequent & different ways of dispersing his Grim/Bandit Bane weighting. Many other great merchants that had slightly less time in game.

I thought it was a great EG for services. It definitely got me immersed and was a fun staycation from work. Now if can only win some good raffles & Tier 5 wins!

Does anyone have information on the painted tin carousel we got this year at Ebons. I lost my notes and my short term memory sucks!
I know you can turn it for different towns, but how often can you use it? I thought it needed to be recharged at some point but might be mistaken.
Any wisdom would be appreciated on the workings of the carousel.

Thanks

You can use it once a month and has 12 charges. Realistically, thats perfect, since you will next be able to charge it at Ebon Gate 2013!

Can any of the attendees of 'Sing me an Epitaph' tell me what was on Myniart's paper given by Zeebo?. I walked out of the room for a second at the moment we were told.
