Is there anything else I should do to test the flares on this katar before I auction it? I know little about weapons, and any advice would be appreciated. It also has some scripts, which I will include in the auction post.
It is a 5x snake flaring katar from the EG games. I understand from Krakiipedia that there are different kinds of snake flares. The bard song did not reveal the particular variety of snake flares on this weapon.
I noticed that it almost always went for the right eye. Below are all of the flares that I got in my tests. As you can see, it hit the right eye 12 out of the 13 times that it flared. I don't have any training in edged weapons or brawling, and I used debilitating spells to lower the critter DS enough so that I could hit it. Could those debilitating spells (web, itchy curse and e-wave) make the eye a more likely target? I guess 13 flares is not enough to reach a conclusion that it prefers eyes.
I plan to auction a number of items together, including this katar, the week after Thanksgiving.
