Who uses what to hunt

Just curious on who does what, I know we have our war mages who are melee, we have our classic bolt casters then I know some that use CS based spells to attack. Just want to see who is hunting what using what with the new changes.

I use my lance, bolts, and 415 to hunt. If you scream up the minor sphere (more than 1x your lvl) you can use 415, especially when used with 413, with little problem.

At lvl 50 my CS with 415 is 280, it does plenty of damage to any critter I'm hunting that decides to turtle.

Hunting in Temple Wyneb, I usually use bolts(95%). However there are times when a hierophant drops a pavis and then a dogmatist picks it up, that boosts their DS to 350-400. In that case I'll use 413 and 415/409 to knock it up until it dies or drops the damnable shield.

With my older wizard I use major fire, or Cone when they start to gang up (which is very often). I also do lots of Mana Leech throughout the hunt. Depends a lot on the critter I'm hunting though, sometimes I resort to 415.

I implode hunt with my sorceress, hooded figures.

Maimara uses Bane to hunt. Usually the Blighted Forest in Ta'Illistim, because, the STronghold is just not easy to hunt without all my highlight strings and macros.

I meant by viable... Before wizard at 100+ were almost only hunting with 409-415... that habit is dead since 513 got better?

I hunt pookas in the WL Graveyard, i'm lvl 32, i use 906 to hunt them, and when theres a group i will e-wave then use cone 2 or 3 times, when i drop below 30 mana i use Mana Leach to up my mana back, i'm pretty effective with it...

I solve the huntin problem by just never huntin, when I do I hunt either spirits, hounds, or pooks . . . but I haven't since GS4 came out, so I really don't know how I hunt anymore, I think I hunt with spells though? Cause I have a nifty stave . . .

I hunt the keen near Ta'Illistim with 510 for the griffins. I wait until the yeti's attack and then I stun them with major fire and sword/haste to finish them. Yeti's are an excellent source of mana (75 or so mana). I'm 66 so I'm hunting at or slightly above my level.

I could hunt there with 415 or 917 but the above is much more mana efficient.

In Maaghera's Tower I use 415 quite often, then follow up with 904 as needed.

I use 904 for Banshee's and 910 for Stone Sentinals. Although when I'm out of DS, I'll switch to 906 because that's the direction I'm headed since 519 is nice when you have a good amount in fire lore. Also no pussy rune staff, 10x shield and a falchion for me.

bolts are always good, which one depends on the critter. 410 and 912 alwas make it easy too.
