a sharpened vultite falchion - 4lbs, 4x, can be lightened, analysis states: You analyze your vultite falchion and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "There do not seem to be any specific limitations."
>open my falchion
Holding your falchion with both hands, you press a small button near your thumb and separate the weapon into two halves.
>glance
You glance down to see a sharpened vultite falchion in your right hand and a sharpened vultite falchion in your left hand.
>close my falchion
Holding the two halves of your falchion in each hand, you carefully recombine the two halves of your weapon into one.
The reason this is lesser is because when you turn it into two weapons it halves the enchant on it, going from 1 4x weapon to 2 2x weapons. However, it can be enchanted normally via a wizard. It can also get flares or weighting, or other extras like any regular weapon can and those will go on both weapons. It can be bonded and that will apply to both weapons. Presumably it might someday be able to be unlocked also, meaning that 1 4x weapon will turn into 2 4x weapons... or, if you get it enchanted, get weighting or flares or bond it, etc, you'll have two of whatever you turned it into. Potentially a very nice weapon if you like projects or for bonding.
