Obama racked up 116 electoral votes from Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois (Obama's home state), Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts (Romney's home state), Michigan, New Hampshire (Romney's home state), New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Washington, D.C. Although the 100 percent of the precincts in Florida have reported, the race has not been called because it is too close. Less than 50,000 votes separates the candidates. Arkansas' polls closed at 8:30 p.m and its six electoral votes went to Romney. Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin and Wyoming's polling stations closed at 9 p.m.
