Things are a lot different now than they were when I stopped posting. I went back to school, I'm finishing my graduate degree, and I'm teaching 7th grade science - geology - (which is ridiculously fun). Since Jake (husband) and I are now both teachers, we've been able to take some pretty awesome trips. We've been 3x to Mexico, to Jamaica, twice to the Netherlands, visited Italy, the UK, and this summer, took 11 days to drive through Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

Jake and I bought a house in 2009 (thank you shit Nevada economy) that we love. My best friend and for-all-intents-and-purposes-brother died in the summer of 2009 which was probably the worst thing I have ever dealt with - ever.

I decided to quit GMing because I don't have time for it any more, and a lot of the desire to GM was just plain gone. It's really not fair to stay on staff and contribute nothing. I still love GS, but I don't want to be in a serious relationship with it any more.

Yeah, that's not really my style. Being very friendly with MOST of the people worked with, I wouldn't want to be that guy that fucks over his/her friends. Nor did I want to be a hanger-on, perpetually pissed-off, raging GM who is so angry at the world that he/she takes all his/her rage out on the populace of this darling little game. Not that that's ever happened, but it'd be sad if it did!

You're clearly not qualified to work for Simu with that attitude, so it's probably for the best that you stopped GMing.
