Just curious to see what people feel is a good, general time-frame for someone to make payment/contact about making a purchase before putting the item back on the block. I was told a payment would be sent on the 19th. I have not received payment and the person in question hasn't logged on since.

People's auction-times seem to vary; some people update once every couple of days, and others several times a day, so time seems relative in that regard. But if they haven't paid -- and unless they specifically told you, through some medium or another, that they wouldn't be available for pick-up for an extended time -- I'd say a week is plenty of time to call it no-go, and give it another shot.

Just my opinion, people who have been around longer may have better insight on the proper decorum.

That's pretty much how I felt. Every other transaction I've done has been completed fairly quickly regardless of which end I've been on.
