I do not know if they can be created with an Alchemist, perhaps someone else might chime in on that. I do know they were merchant sold in the past as well as released in last year's Ebon Gate thru game prizes and graveyard digging. Think of them as zested ninja smoke bombs that put the user into invisibility when thrown. Here is a clip of them in action:

You throw your black crystal sphere to the ground at your feet, where it explodes in a cloud of billowing black smoke. As the smoke swirls around you, you notice that your form slowly blurs into invisibility.

They are single use, do not require magic item use and in my opinion pretty cool. Good luck in your sale, Liloldman.
