Sonic Alteration

got a sonic alter, interested in any ideas anyone has for a sonic lance

and its in shattered so.. pretty much anything goes besides turning stuff into dicks, most gms are against doing that now

Not sure what your tastes are or how far you can take alterations in shattered, but this is my general idea if I ever won a sonic alter...

I would want the wind to swirl and rise up the bones of the deceased from the earth (specificaly my fallen kinsmen if I could take it that far) to spin into my equipment. My armor, shield, or weapon would be bones (or bone fragments) animated by sonic air.

Think about your character and how you would generally like it to look, and then write out your alteration.

That's a wicked idea. I'm so glad to see bards not reduced to a secondary support stereotype in this game -- there are quite a few out there, it would seem, who perform a large amount of ass-kickery.

Well, you'd pretty much need to work all that into your show. You'll need to win a custom spell prep raffle to accomplish what you're specifically wanting to do there.

I like the idea, generally, and hope you can accomplish your goal. With a show, you can certainly do what you're speaking off but it'd be after the fact. About the most you could accomplish within the show might be something along the lines of "bits of bone fragments rise and fall from the ground upon currents of air, surrounding you in a wind-whipped bone shard barrier." Would you be carrying the ancestral bones with you in a container at all times? Sort of like Gaara (Naruto) carries sand with him? I can visualize using bones from whatever is nearby or even buried but not always "ancestral" bones unless you keep them upon your person.

Reality is, I hardly ever see merchants. My biggest win thus far (over several years time) is a custom rare spells mage rechargeable wand. Still, I have my idea in case I get lucky at EG this year.

1025 has to be a jeddart-axe or halberd(1025 is the floating weapon spell) it doesnt have to really appear as a weapon.. one guy here has his altered to a bunch of groupies, anothers is a green alien or somethin. but if anyone knows anything about Azathoth/Chtulhu mythos stuff, i'd kinda like to stay somewhere in that as im not really into "a large floating vagina/hymen" blah blah type alters like most in shattered are
