Wand Bows

I recently purchased a wand bow. I know how to get the wand into the bow but what happens next? Does it work automatically?

Yeah, this comes up all the time. Pretty sure it's LOAD (my bow or wand in my bow or something like that).

Yes load it the word you use. My question is what you do once you load the wand. Is it supposed to flare and if so is it random? Is there a verb you use to make it flare if its not automatic?

It flares every shot untill the wand is out of charges

It will also consume the arrow so likely you won't want to use master fletched arrows. Also if your arrow is blessed/ebladed I believe nothing will happen, as the arrow properties take precedence.

I haven't used one with wands in a few years but from what I remember:
(1) wand + 411 arrows = no flares (from 411 or wand)
(2) wand + arrows = wand flares on every shot (per charge)
(3) no wand + 411 arrows = 411 flares

Also, the wand flares don't burn up the arrow every time, do they?

Not every arrow, no. Perhaps half. Also, not sure your #1 is accurate or not. Number 2 certainly is and same with 3.

I am having a bitch of a time selling my 6x wand bow for a relatively average price and this is with people clamoring for 6x bows. I think people are afraid of them. Hey, folks, get this...it's a 6x composite bow regardless of the wand bit. The wand loading ability is a bonus. If you're hunting things that don't like ice, load a wand. Otherwise, do whatever your heart desires. Go buy my bow.

try a blue-tinted pale ruic longbow with charged metal wands on Fire Mages and you will realize just how awesome these bows are. I have a 5x one I'll sale if interested...finished with mages. load my longbow with my wand is the command and I always use faewood arrows for the 10x

What type of wand bow would be the best?
(Flare type).

Oh okay. So one isn't more powerful than the other. Like feras is way better than others.
Just wondering between lightning and acid.
