I am thinking about this for training:
Brawling 202 (2.0X)
Two Weapon Combat 202 (2.0X)
Combat Maneuvers 202 (2.0X)
Multi-Opponent Combat 45 (0.4X)
Ambush 101 (1.0X)
Physical Fitness 202 (2.0X)
Dodging 303 (3.0X)
Climbing 50 (0.5X)
Swimming 75 (0.7X)
Perception 101
Harness Power 40
Mental Mana Cont 24
Minor Mental 30
Minor Spirit 30 (for spirit guide)
Mental Lore: Transform 101
This still leaves me 124 PTP and 246 MTP to play with. I am converting a character with close to 12 million experience, so there are points to play with... I used Tsoran's spreadsheet. I wish there was a CMAN trainer too to play with.
What are your ideas?

I had thought to maybe go 2x in stalking and hiding and drop the TWC as an option. I need to get FA or survival up there too...I probably will pay the points for survival. I could get 80 ranks with my left over points.

Anyone how to place the stats for a giantman monk ? would like to tank influence or intuition? would like to just tank one stat.

I probably wouldn't tank intuition, doesn't that also factor into dodge?

it does. Influence appears to be the least important stat as usual. Two Weapon Combat is the only real question I have. I am not sure if it is worth it to train it all the way for the parry chance, or even how much is important. It is a large investment to 2x or even 1x it considering it is only good for parry DS (I do not plan on using brawling weapons since I cant use katars as a monk in reality).

I remember someone saying you only need 1 rank of TWC to activate parry in the offhand.

yes, but I think you need more to get a decent percentage chance to parry with the off hand. I cant really tell by reading krakii or the officials. There are a shit ton of monks out there, I am surprised there are no more responses to this thread :(

The Minor Mental CS/TD stat is Logic.

You need a minimum of .5x in TWC to get the offhand sai/main gauche bonus to kick in now. It was just 1 rank but busybodies on the officials complained about it. I think its probably worth it to grab .5x at a minimum with my monk and perhaps more at later levels. Its a nice DS bonus.

I think that will be my conversion actually. It seems better than my first. I will work on getting ambush to 2x next and monk spells to 35 once it is released that high. I think it will be fun to play him like a rogue to some degree but able to stand and whip ass if he has to. Wish we had access to Shadow Mastery...
Grapple Mastery to one level may be a waste, but I had extra points so I put it in there and combat focus (+2 TD). i thought about crowd press but I am not willing to give up inner harmony (for healing and cleaning my own minors) or perfect self (permanent +10 to all my stats).
I am really curious how other capped characters are looking to train.

Were I you, I might consider 3x PF over the dodge, then again maybe not (since you'll be in MBP with a +4 Trans bonus enhancive.) I'd definitely make whichever you didn't 3x the next target to max out though.

Why is 3x PF necessary? My hit points will be way maxxed out. I usually play casters or magical rogues so I am not used to lots of PF... I am taking all the "please dont hit me" skills I can to avoid getting bloody.
I am currently a GoS master. Question: will coversion make me lose my society and force a start over? (I hope NOT)

Redux and PF is the number 1 factor in critter SMR evasion. With 3x PF and the equiv of MBP, you won't be worrying about getting hit.

Because you will get hit and 3x PF will give you more redux. Conversion will not affect your society status.

ah, I will have to relook at this then tonight and make myself 3x PF. Looks like stalking and hiding or ambush are going away, or maybe I will just single S&H. Will play with the spreadsheet later.
