Hello all, I currently have a 22 OHE ambushing/picking rogue that I have been thinking about refilling or fixskilling into an UAC character. I would just fixskill but I'm not quite sure my stats are optimal for the transition and I'm low enough that I could reroll.
Any suggestions on training path and optimal stat placement? Ill post my stats later tonight when I get home.
Also, any suggestions on weapons/armor as I grow?
Thanks

I guess it's worth mentioning that I used to voln fu with OHE before quitting, fixskilling, and joining sunfist because I could hardly fight living creatures slightly older than me without spell ups due to my low AS.
Also, I'm willing to drop picking altogether if it will make me a killing machine.
Thanks

Well, several things come to mind. Are you premium? If so, I certainly wouldn't reroll I'd just roll up a new character. If you give up picking, are you attached in some way to the rogue profession whether it be guild skills, picking, or armor buffs? If you stick with a brawling rogue you'll want be able to hide and jab/punch/kick from hiding. A plat rogue put up a very entertaining, informative thread on the officials under the unarmed combat folder I believe about how to UAC as a rogue.

I did see that after I made this thread, however (if its the same post I'm referring too); it doesn't speak of training or stat placement, but just a how-to on actually using the uac system

This is my current setup. I know the stats arent optimal for a OHE ambusher but would they work for a UAC ambushing rogue? I do have a fixskills available, so if this would work and wouldnt be terrible due to stats then I may just use the fixskills opposed to making a new character. Please let me know.

With my current stat setup I can train in the following...
2x skills: Brawling, CM, Dodge, stalk/hide, perception, ambush
1.5x: PF
1x: armor, disarm trap, pick lock
10 ranks: climb and swim
5 ranks: harness power
This will leave me with 65 MP's remaining (I am a little less than 1/4 through my level).
I would like to be able to self pick my boxes. If not, I am willing to drop it altogether and have the locksmith pick it, but I want to be able to get into the rogues guild (in Vaalor you need to smith the shed, or wait for the smith) so being able to pick that would be convenient. I am do not focus in disarm traps, do I need to 2x in perception?
Any suggestions?
