That figures I actually wanted to get on today and play. The only time I have logged in during the last 2 weeks is to check my referral queue position <last I checked I was number 29

Position in referral queue means nothing.

GMs and GHs pick and choose which ones they answer. I've been 5th in the assist queue and had it answered within a minute of declaring it.

Hey Bratt, I'm bored waiting for GS. Tell me your characters CS again?

Crashed on me yesterday. I think it stayed down for at least two hours. :(

I will say this, though: They have improved a great deal. The game used to go down a lot more than it does now.

It crashed yesterday too and was down for about an hour, then was slow all night.

Before yesterday's crash however, it hadn't crashed in quite a while. I remember when it would crash all the time, at least once every 2-3 days. This is much better comparitively. Still sucks though.

GemStone IV will be up shortly.
(You have disconnected from Simutronics.)

Will attempt to reconnect in 15 seconds. Type CANCEL to abort.

Should we start a betting pool now?

Edited to add: This just in..

Please wait for connection to game server.
The game is up but access to it has been restricted for internal testing.

Down again.

Prime and Plat.

Divinity

Back up? Uhh..

Also, 34 minutes isn't a life time. It's just annoying that you pay for a game and it's crashed more than once in a 48 hour period. Granted, it hasn't done this in awhile.

At least this didn't happen during the Wavedancer, right?

It did happen during the Wavedancer.

Before it went down yesterday I couldn't remember the last time it went down since I came back last year. Back in the day, hell yeah, all the time. Better than any other game I've played, but they have pictures too.

The GMs then extended the length of the Wavedancer to more than make up for the loss.

For you apparently. I had other obligations. Also you are talking about the first run, I was talking about the third run where it crashed yesterday in fact.

Wonder if it crashed during the second run, lol.

I didn't have any problems on the second run. Well, not the server crashing and what not.

Damn merchant hunters.

And I am talking about how they extended it for the third run. Check the announcements folder.

Syberus

Heh I went to sleep at 10 Eastern this morning because the game was down, I wake up to find it still down!

Maybe I should try and find a life so as to occupy my Saturdays.

Nah.

This is why we are paying that extra money now. Granted, teh game does go down less, but this is rediculous. Last night I was booted from the game at least 15 times (friends reported about the same), sometimes I was able to make it past the lag monster and got lucky.

My prediction, this will not be completely fixed until after Memorial Day Weekend is over. (Billing also closed.)

This is fun. Reminds me of the good old days. Wonder if we'll have a time warp? If so, back how long. Speculation? Threats? Name-Calling?

It's up, now let's see if they crash again

Fallen

Looks to be stable. Seems the problem was isolated to something having to do with Premium scrolls. As such, they have been disabled for the time being.

05-28-2005, 08:51 PM
Someone was altering my pauldrons via scroll and I think it kept crashing the game or something. I'm sorry, there was something was wrong with the alterer's scroll. My bad, I think.
