I am a pure bard just turning 90 and thinking about moving to Teras to hunt Nelemar. How does Bard TD stack up against the critter CS there? Any other advice would be nice.
Thanks

It's not too bad honestly. Get some blues and you'll do just fine.
I'm sure everyone's already told you but just make sure you stay on the 3rd floor. Doing the 2nd floor at 90 might not be the best hunting grounds due to GWE's and Sentrys. 1030 works wonders on everything up there. Just be aware the executioners, combatants and defenders do maneuver attacks. Nelemar is a cake walk for pure bards.

2nd floor by the entrance stairs is usually fine - sometimes a GWE or sentry wanders by but usually they don't. It's when you go to the main 2nd floor area (down the other set of stairs on the west side of the temple) that things get gnarly. You will probably do great there, as was said just get blues and you'll have little to worry about. Stay light, hopefully you are in padded armor because the charge maneuver hurts. Be cautious of disarm, as well.

As a pure bard spellburst won't be an issue. Make sure to get the ranger spells 602 and 618. 602 is one of the most underrated spells for basic spell ups. Are you using 102? As a pure bard there is no reason to ignore so much potential DS. Watch out for the ambushing executioners. Charge will get you, eventually, no matter what you do (personally, I found the drowning maneuver to be worse but then I was trained to avoid charge). Personally, I'd look to some 7x fusion augmented chain over padding but to each their own. I just sing my armor and have since my 70's. I figure free good armor is better than stupidly expensive very good armor. YMMV.

On the subject of executioners, carry aloes stem (or equivalent ale) for when they nail you with CMan Cut-Throat (and they will!)

And it's horrific for bards, let me tell you. Thankfully, I spent 90% of my time in there with an empath. We did carry stem because even an empath can't heal themselves from that cman.
