No pre-written notes were allowed but a video clip shows Mitt Romney pulling something from his pocket at the start of the first presidential debate.

The Romney campaign says it was a handkerchief.

A handkerchief!!?? What year is this? Nobody uses handkerchiefs anymore. Romney needs to find a more believable explanation.

If you look closely, you can see that it's clearly a cheat sheet.

Whatever to this story, but in larger terms, any candidate who outright lies to the American people should be put in public stocks and vilified. Guess that'd be one way of clearing out Congress.

Dude, respect the system. Stocks, then tarring and feathering, then you rape their women, then you lynch them.

How about a law that just makes it illegal to lie to the American people? There's the issue of unintentional lies, of course, but the general idea is still good.

Obviously Romney swallowed the answers then regurgitated them into this mysterious "handkerchief" (does such a thing even exist?) which he then read from. Romney is one sneaky bastard.
