Yup. Before I added flares to my golvern full plate it had a restriction on it that wouldn't allow it to be enchanted by a mage. GM said "This is an old item, that's how it was made & it's working as intended."

I demand they add a loresong of horrible blackening enchanting foolhardiness being performed on the weapon; or increase to current mechanics! :D
