Ended up with rank 2 nerves, but had plenty of mana. Never seen that before.

I was doing some math the current max CS and it looks like it's a forest gnome or dark elf cleric currently. Off the top of my head, with stats, lore, and enhancives, it's around 620ish.

Did you count it with Symbol of Prosellflfllf whatever, Spirit Slayer, and a CS boosting Alchemy potion?

Ok, so here is what I have prior to the new voln sign and symbol of whatever the new shit cleric is....


508 for max spells
005 for racial bonus
049 from 240
015 from 1612
020 from enhancives
010 from 1711

That's 607 CS

Double check my work?

If correct it'd be +10 CS from the new cleric spell for forest gnome, erithian, and dark elves, + 13 from the new voln symbol. So 630.

Right now, they only have recipes or spirit crystals, and elemental potions, but I would bet there are both for each. I am not quite sure how much the strongest give, its not listed. The weakest gives +5, the middle gives +15, so I would assume the highest gives +25. Its only for one cast.

EDIT: I never read if you can stack the potions AND the crystals. If you can, and they give +25, you could get another +50 for one cast.

EDIT AGAIN: How high are you taking Influence and Wisdom through enhancives? Because if you are . . .


Note: The influence and wisdom bonuses are based on the stats of the cleric who imbues the symbol/item with spell 340. If the cleric has enhanced INF and/or WIS stats when the spell is cast, then the enhanced stats are used to calculate the CS/AS bonus.

A Dark Elf/Forest Gnome with maxed Influence and Wisdom would get 5 CS + 10 CS (Influence/2) + 10 CS (Wisdom/3 when cast against opposite pantheon). But if that Influence/Wisdom bonus was higher, it would be higher. An additional 20 Influence would add another 10 CS, and another 20 Wisdom would add another 6. So the end result would be 5 + 20 (INF/2) + 16 (WIS/3) = 41 CS for one cast

How did you come to +49 for Spirit Slayer? (I came out to 40)

Are you counting the Stat bonus in the spells? Because without it, I came up to 481. With it, I came out to 511. What is the +5 Racial bonus you were using? Maybe thats how you did it. For the sake of that, I will count it that way.

508 from spells, +5 from Racial bonus (513)
20 more from Enhancives (20 CS)
Spirit Slayer max boost (40 CS)
Symbol of Proselyte with +20 Wisdom and Influence enhancive, used against opposing pantheon (41 CS)
1612/1711 both (25 CS)
Voln Symbol used by master (13 CS)
Alchemy Crystals and Potions (+25? If they stack, +50?)

Thats 652, WITHOUT the alchemy because its such an unknown. I can 100% confirm it can add at least +15 from a lesser crystal, and I would guess it adds +25 from a greater. If that stacks with a greater potion, that would be +50, so 702 CS. It would only be good for one cast (the CS would drop by 91 on the next cast to 611), and would REQUIRE Spirit Slayer to trigger (though it has a 98% success rate at max training, so its not really an issue).

You are correct, I was confusing the seed 1 summoning bonus with the seed 5 mana control for 240. This confirms that clerics have the max CS available as they are able to get +40 CS while empaths can only 35.

Again you are correct as I did not account for influence. I'd love to check your math, but I'm off to TA. I'll check it later.

I think I saw Rimalon hit 700+ CS in GS4 with all bags of tricks enabled (Alchemy, Enhancives, Aster Opal, etc)

You can't stack 240 and 340 on the same cast. You are also wrong about the 240 bonus, The Casting Strength (CS) boost is 25 + seed 5 Mana Control, Spiritual ranks. *** +20 bonus at 290 ranks. My guess here is you didn't account for a cleric being able to 3x SMC. With enough enhancives an additional 2 CS can also be added, *** +22 bonus at 341 ranks. So you have either a +45, or a +47 CS with 240. :P

I was just going by the Krakiipedia entry, which seemed to indicate it capped out at 180 ranks of Mana Control for some reason. If thats not true, then by all means. Shame about the Spirit Slayer/Proselyte non-stackability though.
