I used to live in a disillusioned world, many moons ago, where I felt satisfied under the false impressions that I was becoming a real beef jerky connoseure by simply indulging in the wretched horrors of slim-jims. My eyes were.. shall we say.. metaphorically opened, upon tasting the most succulent piece of gutted cow, known only as the real beef jerky.

Problems with a brand, flavor, style are irrelevant. What must never be forgotten is that it is the true beef jerky which speaks to our hearts and not some hanous cloak and dagger imposter.
