My Paladin would die almost every time to a major e-wave from fire mages before wearing this. Never died wearing it. That is more a function of the padding than the plate, but still.

thats the main reason I like having padding... berserking in camps my sigils usually fall off 1/4 into the berserk and they love to major wave and damage padded plate doesn't save a broken neck
