Not a bad premiere. Good job draining the life out of Robert Patrick, he was too jarring. The technology and effects are fresh but the main characters are going to have to become a lot cooler by the end of the season.

However, baseless assumptions I've made:
The guy in charge will be alright, but he's no Macguyver.
The little black guy will be annoying as hell.
The Teal'c wannabe girl will be just as crappy a fighter as Chyna and far less likely to be naked.
The badguys will have too much CG and nowhere near enough creepy menace (I'll admit Anubis was way way over the top).
I hit the mark on any of these?

Finally, something I'm sure of:
Dr. Weir is 1000000x hotter than Sam. Sorry Sam.

That was some scary shit. The wraiths are fucking coming to strip my flesh.

Calling it a wait and see on the female native.

Wraiths were plenty of creepy to me... though I wish that they had more attitude like the Gou'ld did. I also though Anubis was an ideal villian (seems to have been modeled after Darth Vader).

Agreed on Dr Weir being "hotter" though Sam has that "girl next door" quality to her.
