Ign's current top 100 rpg list

I'd like to say a few things regarding this list.....

1. Agree on the top 2. Never played 3 but would like to.

2. World of Warcraft should be higher.

3. Dark souls should be higher. Best game in years and I cannot wait for the prepare to die edition to hit ps3.

4. Lots of Squaresoft games at the top of the list, not so many square-enix. Yes they've lost their way. Final fantasy xii was the only memorable game in years from them and that was due to the bounty system.

5. Oblivion > Skyrim

6. Where is gemstone?

WoW should only be higher cause of the insanely large player base. I really don't think it's the Best MMO, just the most played.

Which does mean alot in some aspects tho.

I don't agree with alot of the list, but I can see their reasoning.

They should have had people vote to decide. It'd take a few rounds to be done properly, but would have been cool to see.

Agreed on #1; I would've swapped #2 and #3, though it would be a close call. WoW should be much lower, Diablo 3 shouldn't be on the list at all, Persona 4 should be much higher... meh. Overall, a pretty "safe" list. I can't tell you how glad I am FF7 didn't end up #1.

Agreed on ff7. I liked the game when it came out, but there are better games. It was kind of ahead of its time with the whole emo thing.
