AIM "Hackers"

Fair warning to everyone..someone is going around hitting some PC posters with some type of AIM scripter/hack. The Screen name that keeps IM'in me is HaXoR Signoff. Every time said person IM's me, it crashes AIM.

I say hitting PC members, cause its hit two that I know of now.

Thats why you block anyone thats not on your buddy list. Keeps the jokers away.

I've done that in the past, but it ends up pissing me off, cause I never remember I have the block on, and spend wasted time trying to figure out why such n such cannot IM me.

Whatever happened to the good old days of Ą ?

I'd say that being "hacked" through AIM would be opening direct connection and NETSTAT -N'ing for IP. Real pain in the ass.

Then, just block that screen name.

Or, have your AIM set up so that it displays an Accept/Decline dialog box whenever someone not on your buddy list IM's you.

It's probably just some script kiddie who thinks he's being cool.

if i wasnt lazy and had about 100 screen names i'd go around doing this to people, too

i also dont see hwo this warning does anything but TERRORIZE THE MASSES LIKE, OH NO THERE IS A TOXIN REBEL AT THE BANK AND HE IS OWNING THE WORKERS , !!!!!!!!1111!!! BUT HE HAS TOXINS SO GUNS DONT WORK!!!

I have it set up for the Accept/Decline. It would bring up that box, then crash AIM ;)

I used to be able to crash soupies AIM by doing a smiley. That was fun
