Anybody getting it? Please discuss. I'm most excited about being able to transfer my soul into rats and fishes to secretly get into buildings. Yes.

I think at heart I'm an MMO player. I don't see the point of playing video games by myself any more.

I think I'm a bit distressed by this, tbh. But yeah, I've seen this game and it looks amazing - but I won't be buying it.

It's funny. I feel more and more the opposite way.

Yeah, you would think I would be bored because I deal with other people (and stupid people at that) all day for work....but it actually help me tolerate stupid people in MMOs better.

Maybe that's it.

I'll have to wait for the reviews. I don't like stealth/puzzle games, but if you truly can go in guns blazing without issue I could enjoy it. I am more excited by Borderlands 2. The plot is supposed to actually exist this time. Also, RE6.

I'm usually not a fan of stealth FPS games but I just played through Crysis and Crysis 2 for the first time and had a blast with the stealth mechanics, especially in the second one.

I've been keeping my eye on Dishonored, but the more I've seen, the less enthused I've been. I can't really explain why. Maybe it's how overpowered some of your abilities are, like stopping time, possessing someone, then moving them in front of their own bullet to kill them. I guess there are balances in place, like power usage or something, but eh. I'm going to wait for some reviews and maybe the price to drop.

I am just fascinated the the many ways to play the game. I think at one point, one of the game developers during the E3 gameplay demo said you could beat the entire game without ever killing anyone. Although, how much fun could it be to not kill anyone?!

Me and the fiance tried to play Borderlands 1 over, but it's just incredibly boring, even with the insane amount of awesome weapons, so we won't be partaking of the new Borderlands. Although, the Mechromancer looks suuupper badass.

Also, RE6.

Nah, there just needs to be a MMO that caters to a niche of intelligent players who collaborate well.

w00t. Shipped. Uh, premium theme Tarrot cards for the ebgames preorder. I'll add this to my SCV Ivy Bobble head random pre-order whazzit.

So ... AC III, Halo 4 and BioShock Infinite to go. Anyway, this game is going to be dope as fuck.

I wish I could get mine today. But I have work from 9-530 then school right at 6:30, and it takes half an hour to get there. Blagh. Probably no tarot cards for me. :(

Anyone want to share their experiences with Dishonored? Is it worth it? I've heard nothing but good stuff, but my backlog is huge and I don't want to add more to it.

I've heard good things about the game, the only bad thing I've heard is that it's short. Even with exploration, like less than 10 hours. Apparently on Day 1 someone streamed the whole game in 4 hours.

I'm debating. Most of my friends say it's not worth the price for what the game offers.

*S-P-O-I-L-E-R-'-Y*

I killed like 290849340 people on my first two missions. Then, I realized this had an outcome on the rest of the game. I ghosted and didn't kill anyone for two separate levels and kept my kill count extremely low and no matter what, there was so much attrition from the earlier crap that I couldn't undo the chaos level. Why did I fully upgrade my crossbow, spring trap and grenade capacity if I am not going to light shit up like the fourth of fucking July?

My advice to anyone who's going to pick this up, just fuck up everyone and go apeshit. There's almost no gameplay value in trying to keep a low profile by blinking and sleeper holding people after loading your game save five times.

I'm on my second playthrough now. My first was a complete stealth run -- no kills, tried not to get spotted. Reminded me a ton of the original Thief game, lots of fun.

My second playthrough is a full kills run -- kill everyone and everything. I'm breezing through. It's not as fun as the stealth run at the moment, but I think it will pick up once I unlock more powers.

I'd definitely recommend it. It's only short if you go full chaos. Length is extended if you do a stealth run, but a lot of that is observing guard patrol paths and waiting for the right time to strike.

The stealth mechanics are a little rudimentary but the exploration is great and overall it's a good game. You'll probably enjoy it.

I wish I could time travel a couple years into the future so that I could buy all the current games on my wishlist when they're on sale as $5 GOTY versions, then come back. :(

Yeah, the regular version is 4.99, the $10 one is all the DLCs.

I've actually had this game for some time now in my Steam account, with all DLC...I've played it about 4 hours. I'm interested in it, I found my 4 hours with it enjoyable, and I plan on playing it through eventually...but my time is a bit limited at the moment.
