Heard they were implementing monks so I decided to come back to the game.

From this year's DM challenge:

a rounded white river stone painted with two golden feline eyes

Under a pound, Spirit Guard, usable 4 times per day, persists

MB: -
Stone SOLD on a generous BO.

a mithril claidhmore

1x, old style

MB: -
Claidhmore SOLD to Wizgem3.

Looking to get this auction done by tomorrow evening or perhaps Friday as I want to purchase a decent set of robes.

unlisted buyout etiquette: Always give the current high bidder the opportunity to match the offer.

Why don't you cry about it, you sniveling pussy? You gave me bad rep because I sold it to someone else? Eat a dick. Go sell some more gay nature resistance.

That is unlisted for a reason.

I didn't mean unlisted etiquette, I meant unlisted buyouts. If you don't post a buyout, but then accept a privately offered one, you should offer the current high bidder in the auction the right to match it. In other words, if you change the terms of your auction after starting it, at least inform the current high bidder before calling it sold. That is common courtesy, and common sense.

You make more money that way anyways, there are people who try to trick sellers into accepting private buyouts because they wish to avoid public scrutiny, why else do it, as opposed to bidding, unless you think the bidding would exceed your buyout price?

That this is rude and not in the seller's interest has nothing to do with the fact that I was the current high bidder. You'll find me posting the same thing after auctions I haven't even been bidding on have ended in the same ignoble way in the past.

Also, whomever is registering multiple accts just to leave me neg rep for this, you're really just wasting your time. No one really cares.

That's just your opinion then dude because unlisted buyouts are pretty common.

Being common doesn't make them courteous, or even wise.

I wonder how many small statues could be bought with whatever amount that buyout truly was...

Dys sells fully charged statues at 50k for 25 rubs. That's 2k/rub (roughly)
Last known public bid was 20m. That's 20000k, or 10,000 rubs (200 statues)

@ 4 rubs a day, that breaks even on the cost after 2500 days, or about 7 years.
