a black wyrmwood case etched with thorns

You analyze your wyrmwood case and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.

The creator has also provided the following information:
This wyrmwood case will work with imbued bracelets and anklets. It will produce "a braided wyrm thorn branch bracelet or anklet".

A talented merchant could customize the appearance of the items produced from this wyrmwood case, or change the appearance of the case itself. Not every merchant may be able to offer this.
Keep the following in mind when considering customization options:
First and foremost, the products produced MUST remain some sort of natural object. Tree bark amulets can not become vultite amulets.
The wyrmwood case can not mass produce gems and other fancy materials, so no diamond-encrusted wands.
Simple is best. Wands and rods should remain some sort of non magical wood, and must remain wands, rods, or batons. Amulets should keep their non magical tree bark/wooden nature, and bracelets and anklets should always be some sort of natural grass or other suitable substance.

The merchant ALWAYS has the right to deny a request that he or she might feel is out of line.

You can tell that the case is as light as it can get and that its pockets could not possibly get any deeper.

So, essentially, you put a ranger made anklet or bracelet in it, rub it, and it will come out as a braided wyrm thorn branch bracelet or anklet. It's permanent. I am not sure if a ranger has to be the one to do this or if it has to be done before putting a spell into it or not, so if anyone knows let me know. I'm not necessarily selling as I like the idea of being able to offer unique imbeddables, but I am curious what it might be worth.

You can put the item in whenever. I did it to all of my anklets that were already imbedded. The boxes also work for any class.

Do you know if they made ones that do rods that are permanent? Since those hold 90 mana versus 60 it might change the price if they did.

I know at least one person in our group had rods done. Not like they're looking to sell, but still. The choices were rods, anklets/bracelets, or amulets.

Just to give you an idea at this years EG, I had planned to buy about 5 million worth of the temp boxes that do rods. The thing is anklets/bracelets stack in a shop already. Rods don't. So I would pay a pretty nice price tag on the rod one, were it permanent. I would probably start in the 5-10m range I guess for yours.
