Wizard Guild in Ta'Vaalor

How do I enter the Wizard's Guild in Ta'Vaalor?

I'm doing something wrong.
I can see the gate and the wall.
I look at the wall and see the doorway.
I read the doorway. It says "Speak to me wizard as only wizards speak."
When I speak "wizard" to the door (and also the wall and the gates and the guard) I receive the following message "you address the doorway but your voice echoes hollowly before fading away."

I am a Wizard and currently checked in for the month (in another town). What am I missing here?
