I HATE needles. I hate pain! Tattoos include both. For years I have fought it, but tonight.... the ink won.
Designed and lettered by me, inked by Joe. Forgot last name...
Non literal trans is: I am a Mother and Daughter Forever/Eternally
Language is Irish Gaelic

I thought you were stronger than that.
Where did you get it on your body? Looks neat, love the symbol.

Welcome to the club. Nice location, meaning, and in color! Must have cost a little.
Was it really all that bad as you feared?

Thankyou, I am very happy with it. Took so long to get one, because I was worried I'd hate my choice in a few years. Not worried about that happening with this! :)

Nice design, but tattoo's are very addicting.. got my first one at 17, over a dozen now at 24.
Suttin' about the pain, it's a good pain tho if that makes any sense.

I've been told that. One of my friends have over 20. The ones who introduced me to the tatooist have at least 7 each. The coolest one is they have matching scrolls on their arms with each others names and their kids names. Above the scroll is a bull.

If I wasn't at work I'd get a shot of the one across my back. Nice tribal design above and under my last name done with Old English lettering.
Ton of other tribal work, most residing on my right arm, little more than half sleeved.. basically everything above my elbow to my shoulder.
Tattoo's are like pringles.

BTW......... advice. Neosporin or not? Some say its the best, others say it leeches the colour out.
Experiences?

I've put Neosporin on all of mine, just don't cake the shit on like some people do, but a thin film and leave it be.

I used A and D ointment that stuff works great
I've had a tattoo on my forearm since I was 14, I'm 20 now and I have had no need to retouch it at all

I agree with RangerD1, a thin layer of Neosporin will be fine. Also, be careful with water pressure from the shower.. when it starts to peel like a sunburn.. no touch!

I've been very careful. All the input has been great! PC Rocks. w00t!
Joe wants a picture of it for his books. Yeahhh baby.

Man, now that its been a couple of days the tattoo is clearer, and its got mistakes!! I'm pissed.
Some of the lins dont connect.. and the circle part doesn't match up. :grr:
I don't see a way to fix it either.
Izadriel

Don't feel too bad.. Just ask around and find a well known local artist, guaranteed they can fix it.. hell, most will fix others mistakes for free just to get the repeat business.
Luckily I have one of the best in the country right near me.. Danny Williams.. this guy's work is unbelievable.

Or the "go to a tat guy" suggestion. That seems like a better idea.

The worst part is my friends think I'm being anal over it. they are like, no one will notice!
I didn't get it for other people, I got it for me, and it is there for good so I have every right to want it to look great :/
Izadriel

Fair reason to be anal about it.. it's on YOUR body.. personally, I have two I absolutely loathe, hence the attempt at sleeving to cover them. Just remember, there are always ways to fix it, if not improve upon it
