From what I understand as soon as a monk hits level 40 then conversions will be allowed.

As a warrior that converted to a paladin I wouldn't mind converting to a monk just because.

It isn't as soon as a monk hits 40. It'll probably be a few weeks after.

Teveriel is a warrior-to-paladin convert, too. Wouldn't have it any other way; the decision was pretty much a no-brainer. For Haoh, it comes down to which aspect of the character I want to focus on; deciding whether the ability to wield a katana is more or less important compared to training his mind AND body, which is something I always emphasized in his RP. Meh. We'll see when the time comes.

Just to update, looks like Rathboner on the officials just made 40 today. No telling how long it will take to implement conversions though.

Simu says that a monk has to hit 40 in all 3 instances, which means we still have to wait for a level 40 monk in plat. The current highest monk there is 37 I hear but even when he/she hits 40 the conversion process won't be started right away.
