Just curious how the Lich Playershops site does its updating. I noticed that the inventory in a lot of shops is outdated and my shop hasn't shown any changes in the month since I restocked items. Is this something there is a script for that people can help with? I would gladly spend a bit of time each day having someone run around a check inventories via a script of some sort. Assuming this somehow feeds back to a database.

The name of the script is citizendata. Make sure to untune from lnet, kill your amunet, and have enough ranks of AS to read scrolls.

Stupid question, how do you untune from lnet other than ;k lnet?

Many useful things can be found in ;lnet help

Thanks for the info. I've downloaded the files from the repo and was able to run on FWI and WL with no issues, although the WL update took quite a bit of time! Hopefully I can devote time each day to run this for a city and help keep those shop listings up to date.

Oh, and get rid of any disks, spirit servants, demons, etc.. anything that follows you around. Sometimes they'll find their way into the updated information.

Is this still working? I noticed a bunch of gems still listed that I had just bought for bounties a couple of days ago so I thought I'd update a couple of cities. I downloaded citizendata, trusted it and when I started it, I got this message:

>;citizendata
--- Lich: citizendata active.
--- Exception: No such file or directory - C:/Users/Dex/Downloads/lich-4.3.2/lich/scripts/citizendata_input.txt
citizendata:45:in `initialize'
--- Lich: citizendata has exited.

I believe you actually have to run the script manually, and it takes a long time and is a big pain in the ass. That said, I've run it three times without too much difficulty.
