As part of Frontier Days, the Aelotoi of Yllyc Simisiri will host an evening of Code Poems on Tuesday, 8/21 at 10pm ET in a tent outside Helga's Tavern. Come participate in this Aelotian tradition and share your own poem, or just sit and solve the codes presented by others!
For those who are interested in sharing their own Code Poem, information and an example can be found here on Yllyc Simisiri's website (https://sites.google.com/site/thewindborne/creativeworks/codepoem). Everyone who participates with a poem will receive a small trinket of appreciation.

Bring a poem! This is NOT Bardfest, where poetic mechanics matter. The important thing is for the first letters of each line to ultimately spell out a word or phrase.
And then we all have fun cheering for the person who finally professed their love for someone else. :D

Bump! Just a reminder that this is on this coming Tuesday, 8/21, at 10pm ET.
A lot of people had fun with the haiku-like versions done between performers at Bardfest, and it really is that simple! Even moreso, really, since this time you don't have to count syllables, and can use bigger words and even phrases!
Did I mention that we'll have food and drink?

One last bump. This is tonight (Tues. 8/21), 10pm ET, in the tent outside Helga's. Poems, code-solving, food, drink, maybe a little something extra I might or might not surprise people with at the last minute (but only if you're there!).. Don't forget to look at Yllyc Simisiri's website (https://sites.google.com/site/thewindborne/creativeworks/codepoem) if you need an example of a code poem.
