It's really, truly ON! Players meeting up at AFK Tavern is a geeky gamer restaurant and bar that is home to many a costume-wearing LARPing consoling tabletopping shirefolk so we will fit RIGHT in! Laid back atmosphere should be perfect - tabletop gaming is encouraged and there is even wi-fi if anyone wants to bring their laptop and log in. :)

Anyone who is coming from far away enough to stay, lemme know, and I can either put you up at my place, find you a place, or help you find a hotel. Please RSVP using the Poll attached to this thread...or just show up. Whatever.

That's about 20 minutes from me so I suppose it comes down to if I can get that weekend off. I normally work on weekends, and we have lost some people. Getting time off can be a challenge, but I will try.

Ok, this is what I get for trying to plan something so far in advance. I had a horse event come up on this day (no, really?) and I'm positive I won't be back in time for these festivities. Will reschedule for another day if there is truly interest, although right now with 3 yeses and 3 maybes, doesn't quite sound like a rager! Are there folks that are interested that could not make this date either? LMK.

Anyone living in Seattle, I have a huge favor to ask of you.

My mom and Aunt visited there recently, and got some mugs at Seattle's Best. They are cute and stack in each other really nice. My aunt broke 1 of her's, and my mother wants to replace it for Christmas, also it's my mom's 60th in November, and I want to get her the two mugs she is missing. if anyone is willing to pick these up and ship them to me I would be most grateful. I will pay in advance for the mugs and shipping via whatever method you choose.

I have tried looking on the internet, but I can't find anyplace that sells the mugs.

Well, seeing as the date needs to be changed, so long as it's after the new years, I can most likely get a weekend off once I know. The months of November and December are both near impossible to ask for any day at all specifically. So if the date is after Jan 1, I can change my answer to the poll to yes.
