1mil would be extremely lucky. The going rate for superior-forged 5x is in the 500k ballpark. This is mostly since it's a good enchanting stepping stone. Veil iron doesn't have any room to grow there so you should expect even less.

I think I picked up a veil iron two-handed sword for something like 250k? I can't remember but I can't imagine it was more than 500k. Granted, a maul will be more popular.
