Asking a question because I have a bard, and giving you a bump. Why the perception?

Helps with open ambushing, and various tasks/searches.

Despite what the website says, perception does not help with ambushing of any kind. It only helps aiming with ranged weapons. There are several checks in the game that require 20-30 ranks of perception though.

Ambushing is I believe ambushing/cman ranks? Something like that.

Perception + (402) = banditsauce.

Edit to add - this is nearly identical to my 26 bard and it's awesome. He can hunt 35 no issue. Also he usually one-shots enhancives with one good 4 liner. 10-15 more manip lore and it's an amazing pocket purifier.

Good luck OP. If I didn't have the same thing on hand I'd drop 4m on this no question. Never underestimate a pole bard ;)
