"we call this the smile shot"

"the water launcher will sometimes hit it's target"

Think there was a couple other good lines in there, but I've already forgotten

Oh definitely, robots are the wave of the future, especially in regards to military weapons/tools.

The thing fires 6000 BB pellets a minute yet the company insists this robot won't harm humans.

Hah, I was being for serious! I'm not sure about other countries but the US is spending crazy amounts of money on R&D involving robots, especially autonomous ones.

Again, this robot could be the answer. I mean you can control it with your freaking phone. Give it a bit of time and throw some good ol' fashioned American green and you'll be seeing some variant of these rolling with our ground forces. Or replacing the need for ground forces all together.

It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely not stop, ever, until you are dead.

That's the same line your sister gave me after our date.

You can see why I never called her back.

you ever think when the point comes that the entire military forces are fought from a computer with no lives on the line that the leaders will finally turn to each other and say fuck it let's just play checkers , best 2/3 wins.

Seriously, Skynet is coming.

I'm like, not even kidding. 2030 by Moore's law seems to be as good a place to peg it, imo.

All it really needs is a white mask, a chicken bucket on its head, and carrying an enormous guitar.

I'll be damned if I'm going to roll around in a battle mech without a cigarette clenched between my teeth. No smoking my left ass.

Watching that thing rolling through the streets of whatever Japanese city that was had me sold. I've already begun a savings fund. Will just need to add a bit of horsepower to speed that baby up.
