New Voln: Who is it for?

Just as the title suggests. Who benefits the most from the new Voln? I'm throwing the question to the forum, because I'm interested to hear what people think.

Does the new path help Paladins and Clerics, or does it overlap too much with their current powers?

Is there anything good enough to give up wracking for casters, now that Voln Fu is mostly gone?

How does it compare to GoS? Is it a good GoS substitute for people who want to hunt undead?

Its sorta the same as it used to be for the other societies, except that everyone can find something useful with Voln now. Oh and Voln is best for monks though GoS is a close second, maybe even better if you don't want to hunt undead. Overall Voln/GoS are the best societies now pretty much for everyone but CS casters. Voln is probably more attractive to paladins/clerics now than before I'd guess.

Yeah. I just ran through it on a wizard and it worked great. There are obviously two symbols that are directly for UCS, but all and all it is good for anyone. Especially if you want to hunt undead.

When I have an RPA or XXX with my paladin I go full symbol use on every AG task/hunt. Courage, Supremacy, Disruption, Retribution, and Protection always up, Mana when it runs out, and Transcendence if I get stun/roundtime/knockdown locked. Zealot with this pattern will put my AS over 400 completely self sustained at level 52, with a small statue added for a little extra defense, but I've found this frequency of symbol use will slowly whittle away favor.

Going all out like this makes my char a beast. My DPS has to double from normal if not more. And thats without adding Strength and everything else.

Without the exp enhancers I use a white crystal, small statue, and Divine Shield without any symbols to do treasure/favor runs.

Been hovering around 250 spins consistently since release.

has anyone figured out the favor costs of all the symbols? looked on krakii but pretty much none are listed

ps.. im a immo mage in voln and its pretty awesome, really nice for capped people since it makes the trip to nelemar and rift/scatter take seconds now. and i cant complain about the +13 added CS against undead, or retribution adding reactive flares to you if your hit by one.. it is nice
