I am looking for an enchanter for at least a 0-4x job on boots and gloves. I may do 0-5x, if the price is right and the slot is available.
I understand that I am looking at over a month for the 0-4x set, and 25-35 days each for 5x enchant, so if the 5x are available, I will pay for and supply potions/items for two sets of boots and gloves. (one to stop at 4x, the other to go to 5x)
Please PM me with your availability and rates.
Thank you!

To the person that neg repped me for this - no, this it not Kirrfa.
If you wanted to know who this was, you could have just PM'd me instead of turning my rep red.
edit 2: Who the hell is Kirrfa?

You're probably better off using ebladed monk gear for now. Chances are, there will be some small shop with enchanted gear out way before the month it would take to enchant is done.

I will probably use ebladed gear for the time being.
I was under the impression that the total bonus for the handwraps and footwraps couldn't exceed +50, so I was trying to get a start on two permanent +20 (or preferably +25s). Since I intend to have them altered anyway, I wasn't going to be terribly picky about the items themselves. As far as enchanted gear in shops goes, I am sure it will be out soon as well, but I would still like to look into the costs for an enchanter's time.

Typically, it is around 2m for a 4x to 5x enchant. Make sure you check references before paying just any random mage though.

Of course...if I am shelling out 2m for an enchant, I want to make sure I get what I am paying for.
Thank you for taking the time to reply here; it is very much appreciated.

This isn't quite correct. You're right that the total gear bonus for a UAC attack is +50, however gloves and boots don't overlap. Boots apply only to kicks and gloves apply to jabs, punches, and grapples. This means you'll want to get boots as high as possible. Gloves can be lower enchant if you're planning on using high enchant held weapons to augment your UAF. If you had a 10x cestus, for example, you'd be getting +25 UAF from it so your gloves would only need to be 5x.

So are all boots and glove items now enchantable or only certain ones?

Only certain ones. They're purchasable in the town armories if the town guru has updated the shop to include them. I picked up a set from Ta'Illistim to start with.
They indicate they're usable with UCS in the inspect.

That is good to know, and makes a lot more sense than both of them adding to every attack. I guess I will have to push to get them each to 7x as soon as I can afford to do so!
Thank you.

There used to be boots like 10 years ago that were enchantable. I don't really care because I could never make fu work for me, but it might be interesting to see if anyone has any of the old boots to see if they work for this UAC stuff. There's probably someone out there with some enchanted to 10x only because it could be done by players back then.

Boots and gloves on the second jugg were enchantable, ones with the dachres, mobility ones on the boots I think, and plenty of those got enchanted for no reason at all since they did nothing

Yes, those boots.
