I was helping my dad throw old furniture out and I just happened to catch the sun beginning to set. It was something like out of a Frost poem.
I just stood there spellbound for like 20 minutes watching the sky go from blue, to a light red, to orange, and then something between a pink and violet hue. I don't know whether it was the fact that I haven't seen a sunset in so long, or if it was just the right combination of clouds drifting over top of green trees (I live pretty close to a forest), but I was transfixed. There weren't any shapes to the clouds, they were more like sheets of cotton tinted with whatever color the light happened to reflect. I stood there with my mouth open, until the shadow of twilight finally passed and my dad told me to stop staring like an idiot and give him a damn hand with the old kitchen table.
Just thought I'd share that. It was great.

Too bad you didn't get pictures. It would have been great to see.

That's the reason that when I ride my bike, I try to do it around 8:30ish.
Yup, that happens just about every day.

I wish I could see stuff like that.
Unfortunately, all I see is my pillow most days.

You should get a pillowcase with little suns on it. I bet Bob has one you can borrow.
I made the sun yellow for Edaarin.

A couple of weeks ago at work I was able to catch the sunrise. Basically the same as you described your sunset, Edaarin...People were talking about it all over the radios and stuff at work. A couple of days before that, the sun had came out after it rained one afternoon and I went out onto my balcony and saw the prettiest and brightest rainbow I'd ever seen. Simply gorgeous. Nature can really amaze you sometimes if you stop and look.

There's nothing prettier than a squirrel on fire, I always say.

Hey now, give me some time here. Momma always said, "Don't post incriminating photographs of wildlife on the Internet until the statute of limitations has kicked in."

Squirrels are gross. Rats with fluffy tails.

Dude, that's too gay even for me -- And I love the cock.
I am usually working when the sun sets so I saw a really awesome sunset a few days ago. And then I almost drove off the road so I try not to stare now.
