Ok,

Won this one from a raffle held today, 7/7/12. Anyone at the raffle can contest that I won the raffle and this is the raffle itself.

I have an offer of 50 M so that's where I'll start the raffle out.

Current Bid: 50 M Sold to Beldin for 50 Million.

Ah the end to dealing with cowards who hide behind reputation comments.

Let's see what happens

Tomorrow when everyone is awake and able to put it to practice... But here is the general idea.

You can whittle ranger rods to make random blank imbeddables, some of them can be worn and some of them are even mage rechargable

how often can it be used?

It can be used repeatedly back to back. You start off with no knowledge of how to whittle. There is approximately 4 or 5 strkes, actually I think it is tap knife with rod, with the knife until you finish and end up with an object. At first you come up with crude objects, but as you get better you end up with exquisite ones. I don't remember exactly how many I whittled until I made them. Maybe around 30 to 50. Like I said I don't remember. There is a round time of about 30 to 35 seconds when you start off.
Hope this helps a bit.

Unless its changed the only way it can create rechargables is to start with a rechargable rod, which I dont believe rangers can create any more, basically its every rangers link back to Kali, the greatest ranger we have known. Pretty much every ranger that was around when she was wants or wanted one of these.

Pretty much spot on. I don't even have a ranger and I want one of these...considering buying this one! ;)

Not to knock Kali or anything but this item has never appealed to me. Plenty of people really like 'em though!

Anyone have any further information? Does it just grant charges according to the capacity of the rod? Are the descriptions totally random or does the same spell always produce the same description? What spells can be produced?

It doesnt produce spells, it converts blank rods into black wearable or hand held use items, the results are entirely random, unless its been updated the results are always 40 mana holders as well.

Even if the rods hold 80+ they get converted down? Do they have to be blank before whittling?

they do need to be blank yes, and as I said unless they've been changed, the knives are much older then the change to imbuing that creates 41+ mana rods

Reading comprehension error on my part. Thanks to all for the info.
