Normal auction rules - going once, twice and sold. I know nothing more than what is posted below as I cannot use it (I am a capped sorceress). I try to update daily, but shit happens sometimes. Pickup at FourWinds or Illy. Bid well!

Will accept cash at 8 per million.

A warrior just tested it out - seemed to work for him! It casts tremors, knocking down your foe over and over again!

a russet mithril warhorn

Droughtman said:
"Your warhorn can be raised to be used as a signaling device, it canbe sounded when the owner dies and it can be waved for a chance to activate a magic ability."

Loresong says:
A rainbow of light begins to swirl around the warhorn, and a soft humming touches your ears. The harmonics generated tell you that the russet mithril warhorn can summon the strength of the earth elementals and cause the ground to tremble! The warhorn was once winded by a terrible troll chieftain, causing the gates of his dwarven foes to burst asunder and allowing the trolls to overrun the dwarven fortress!

The aura of magic surrounds the warhorn as if it is an artifact of great power. The most obvious ability is its use as a signalling device. Based on the strength of the warhorn's aura and vibrations, you also sense that it has more than one ability.

>wave warh
You raise your russet mithril warhorn to your lips, draw a deep breath, and with a mighty effort you sound the warhorn, loosing a low rumbling hornblast that rumbles through the surroundings. As you continue to sound the warhorn, a powerful vibrating song flows from its cone, shaking the area violently as it carries along!

Will pop into your hand if you die and can be used while dead. There is a waiting period between uses, no idea how long. I know nothing more.

So what exactly is the wave effect? 909? 709? How many uses? No associated RT?

If like my current one (and pretty sure it is), there is about 6-7 sec rt and you need a alot of PF ranks/bonus to blow the horn.

There are a couple tremors ones like this so it should be a 909 effect.

how often can you use the tremors?

It's either once an hour or every other hour, I forget. Roblar is right though, in that the more PF you have the better this thing will work for you. The horn blow on death thing only works if you have a free hand. Each type of horn blow is on the same length but separate timers.

Would it work for an empath?

I suspect it would work pretty well for empaths. I don't know for certain that it's entirely based on PF, but that was one conjecture when we were speculating years ago. That would imply that a fully PF trained empath could make it work pretty well. The other thought was that it could work off of the redux formula, which wouldn't be so good for the empath. It would be easy enough to test I think.

Yes, it should be 1x per hour for wave (unique per warhorn effect) and separate 1x per hour timer for raise (a horn blast is heard realm wide, I think you need to be oudoors).

There is only one warhorn I've seen that is different than the others and uses the play verb like an instrument. I think it uses self mana (is not PF based) 130. It was released during the raffles at thend of the 2011 DM Challenge.
