So...this is a series of log from April 16th. I refrained from posting it for awhile, since I tried to adhere to my promise to simply squelch and ignore Jenovadeath/Zenogais in Gemstone from that day forward. But, as a friend has shown me, they keep talking shit.

The following transpired like around midnight. I don't remember the exact conversation, but I'm pretty sure Maliku was one of the people commenting on PSInet that night, so he can verify at least some of my comments about the nature of Jenovadeath's comments. This all took place because Jenovadeath decided to be an asswipe on PsiNet. It was one thing to lie about his age (claiming he was a medical school student, stupid but whatever, people have done worse), but the comments he made were unacceptable. Unfortunately I don't have them logged, but they were all along the lines of "That's why I'm in college, and you're at the poverty line." Another one that sticks out on my mind is when someone asked what his MCAT score meant, he said "It means I'm smarter than you. That's what it means." A freshman in medical school, huh? After the events which I pasted below took place, he not only BANNED me from PsiNet chat since he's a moderator. He went to Jamus and made shit up about me. He said I made light of his father being dead? I didn't even know his father was dead. What kind of messed up shit is this? I always stuck up for him in Gemstone when people called him a dumbass, or a retard. Kailya didn't like him at all, I said that he was a good kid. She said he was a chronic liar, I said you just have to get to know him. Boy was I wrong. Some friend, who I've known for at least 5 years in-game, huh.

As has been said. It seems relatively common knowledge that Jenovadeath is a less than reputable person.

Jamus on the other hand from what I have seen at least seems to be quite the opposite. It seems a logical next step to wonder how someone such as Jamus could have goofed up and allow someone such as Jenovadeath any sort of ability to represent him as he has.

If i had made such an error, I would want to be told so I could rectify it.

The most recent memory I have of JD is when he arrogantly posted on the official message boards about how he's in medical school (he's never acted mature enough to be old enough to be in med school, first of all, and if he is in med school, god help his patients,) and made a condescending post to a GM about how she's fucking up her unborn baby by having a glass of wine.

He got reamed up the ass by everybody once that happened. Nobody took his side, even though he tried desperately to find some backup on PsiNet.

Aside from that, all I know is that he's got a stupid name, couldn't roleplay worth a shit when he first showed up in this game, and did nothing but powerhunt. It did seem that he's mellowed out a bit in the past year or so, but he's gotten extremely arrogant with this med school stuff, regardless of whether it's true or not.

That, and he's extremely anti-Semitic; offensively so.

Well, he is right about that. Nobody who is pregnant SHOULD touch a drop of alcohol or a pinch of tobacco. Whatever you eat, drink, or smoke, goes into your bloodstream and into your baby. Yes, ONE drink is enough to cause damage in a baby because everyone is different. It's not my right to stop anyone, but you SHOULD NOT be doing that. So I can't fault him there, but yeah other than that his name sucks and I'm sick of his "I'm pre med" posts.

I think the GM in question was also an RN. Or if she wasn't, another GM that was chimed in and said a small glass of wine (4 oz.) every now and then will do no harm.

Tabor responded with some condescending comment about how as a doctor he would never take advice from a simple nurse.

Ed questioned his authority on it, while a half dozen GS players that are RN's tore into him. He ducked out of the conversation quickly after that.

Don't let the OOC chats steer you away from using PsiNet. It's actually a very good tool. Just unlink so that you won't be subjected to any of the chat channels and you'll be fine.

I don't understand why people always say to unlink. You have to tune to a channel in the first place to be on it, so being linked does no harm, and is better to evaluate the popularity of PsiNet. You don't want to be on a channel? Fine. Don't tune to one. Unlinking all the time is dumb.

Students dissect animals in introductory biology labs. I have residents that are currently in that class, and I took it myself last year. It goes something like protists, fungi, plants, invertebrates, worms, fetal pigs, and sheep brains.

I'm envious of quite a few things. I'm envious of SHM's new job. I'm envious of Parkbandit's stable family. I'm not jealous of a compulsive liar.

EDIT: I've "known" Jenovadeath's player for at least 5 years. I went to middle school with his character's in-game "dad." I always stuck up for him when people were talking shit, but that ended about a year ago when he deemed it appropriate to act like a cunt on the basis of him being in medical school on the official boards.

Yeah, pre-med is your basic biology courses for the most part. And nowhere near the same thing as medical school. Comparing those two is like saying you are going for a BBA by taking courses at a community college.

We never discected full grown dogs in any of my upper division biology classes, those are the pics I saw with Tabor in them. And while I will admit people in the midwest are strange, it just would be a really elaborate scheme to be making up.

I was pre-vet at the time. We also dissected cats, salamanders and mudpuppies. It was only a level 400 class too, so pretty much anyone could get in with some entry level courses.

Comparative Anatomy. It was a 3000 level course I took in undergrad as a biology major in my 1st semester of junior year. Had the class same time as I took the MCAT. We dissected cats, rabbits, sharks (they suck), mud puppies, sheep eyes, sheep brain, those invertebrate eel things whose name escapes me, and these big ass bullfrogs.

Probably funny to note we dissected fetal pigs and dogs in my 2000 level Biology 2 course that I took freshman year.
