I wish they hadn't made that stuff so redonkulously heavy. Anyone know what the minimum weight on it would be? To me, it would be a useful invasion set of armor, for when you're attacked a ton of times, wading into crowds.

Minimum weight is still rather heavy, somewhere in the neighborhood of 70 lbs iirc.
