Just picked this up today for the PC. Has anyone else played yet? I've played the first two games and loved them. The reviews i've read all have been quite favorable as well.

I heard it's good, but doesn't feel like the regular "oeuvre" of Max Payne, in terms of story/feel (not that that's a bad thing, it's just different).

I just got it installed. 4 fucking disks for the PC. Pretty massive game, but damn pretty though. Until my computer crashed as it actually got to letting me control the game. Updating my GPU drivers now. Hopefully that will fix the problem.

Haven't played the game yet but I love the soundtrack.

Played it. Loved it. Pretty brutal game as far as the animations go - I played it for PS3 so I envy you for the better graphics, but there were a couple times that I had to put down my controller and take a break because of how intense it was.

You'll love it!

Turns out the game is 31 gigs because they put in high res textures. I'm having some graphical/control issues due to my monitor not jiving with my GPU but if I turn the resolution down slightly things seem to work themselves out. Definitely feeling that I no longer have a graphics card where I can max out every single setting and have the game run silky smooth. I may need to upgrade to the 600 series soon.

As for the actual game it is beautiful and in my opinion fits quite well in the MP universe. It is definitely an evolved game, but for the better IMO.

Told ya! Now tell me how many times you die from getting your buddy killed in the stadium in Act II (i think it's act II) it took me a solid 3-4 tries to finally find out who was killing him and from where.

You'll see some minor bugs and glitches throughout, the game is not perfect, but when when you kill 8-10 guys in one full round of bullet time who cares about a glitch or two?

The PC version is fairly crash heavy, though I am trying to play with all the bells and whistles. I've only made it part of the way through chapter 4, but I really like what I see so far. I'd highly recommend the game for anyone looking for a great story driven 3rd person shooter.

I just wrapped this game up. Amazing start to finish. I highly recommend it.

Here's a criticism about MP3 which I think highlights a lot of what I've been hearing about the game. Done by a rather popular gamer on teh Youtubes. Compares why MP3 was bad and MP2 was good.

Calling MP3 bad is dumb. Different is fine.
