My fuckin intestinal infection wont seem to die. I called the specialist back on friday but this time he didnt return my call. He wont be back in till tuesday so I'm stuck suffering this entire damn weekend.

When I finally get ahold of him on tuesday I'm demanding more tests because I cant friggin function like this anymore.

If I have something like acute colitis then just gimme some steroids and antibiotics already!!! Ahhhhh!

This guy is one of the top gastroenterologists in the NJ/NY area. If he doesnt believe I should be tested further then I will definately be calling another specialist.

No matter how good they are...a second opinion NEVER hurts. If they actually take offense at you wanting a second opinion, I wouldn't much want them as my Doctor.

No physician is perfect and if they think they are....that would make me uncomfortable. I have three RN's and two Dr's in my local family and none of them would ever be upset at a patient asking for a second opinion.

I'm glad to see upon reading your last post, you are ready to get a second opinion. Don't be bashfull when it comes to your health.
