I need some fun, brainless to enjoy movies to p̶i̶r̶a̶t̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶s̶h̶i̶t̶ ̶o̶u̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ legally purchase.

That means if any of you recommends something like Requiem for a Dream and I end up watching it and wondering "Oh god why", I will hunt you down and cut you.

Count of Monte Cristo (new one with Jim Caviezel)
Lethal Weapon (2, 1, 4, 3 in order of goodness)
Operation Condor (or any other Jackie Chan pre-Tucker)

And let me just say I am really happy we have strikethrough now.

Watched City of God last night for the first time in a while. Brilliant! You might have to think though, with all the subtitles and shit

For comedy that requires no thinking, I must recommend Dumb & Dumber. Brilliant!

Never did understand all the hoopla over Boondock Saints. Thought it was horrible. A lot of people love it though

Also, any of the Cheech and Chong movies are great. Stoner humor of course. Nothing like a van made of weed, that has weed smoke coming from the tailpipe.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

Dodgeball

Tropic Thunder

Office Space

I watched three of these in the last 7-10 days. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is simply classic Steve Martin. Dodgeball was good and funny, but Tropic Thunder was even better.

If you're into fun but cheesy 80's flicks you could try The Last Starfighter and Buckaroo Banzai (although some might say why?!). Silverado, all of the Bourne movies and Shooter are on my good movies to watch anytime list.

I haven't read the thread, but Rubber was really good, honestly. It's more a commentary on filmaking then horror. And Remo Williams is just great.

Videodrome? With James Woods?

I want to say yes, because you said Videodrome. Videodrome is always yes.

Except, no.

It's the one with the dude, who like, becomes possessed and then kills some bitch with bugspray. And it's fucking awesome. Is it called "Antenna" or signal something? Something like that. But it all depends on the size of the gat.

Sarah Jessica Parker's first movie

Yeah and isn't she about the most overrated actress ever? The only movie she made that I enjoyed was the one with Bruce Willis where they were the river cops. That's because any action movie with Bruce Willis is at least watchable.

However, kudos on Flight of the Navigator. That was a fun Disney family flick.
