The new posts (and presumably all search results) layout is very ugly. The useless thread icons are way too big, the go to first new post icon too small, the "forum: blah" part should just be "blah" and "blah" should be bigger.

Well, looking through rep I've left and received just wasted the morning nicely. Clicking links to see the posts associated with rep you've given almost always brings you to the first post in the thread though, and not the actual post you repped. That's pretty disappointing, especially in gigantic threads that span years.

Is there a way to filter searches to only return applicable posts instead of the entire thread the post is buried in? We used to be able to do that but I can't figure out how to do it now. It's kind of a useless feature if we don't get the relevant posts returned, especially if we are looking for something in a large thread.

ahh okay, I also figured out how to do it on site, there's a tab at the top of the screen that will allow single search and you can specify post only returns. Duh.
